The Beirut born Matrix (1999) star started off from the Canadian screens. By 1986, Keanu Charles Reeves had acted in several stage plays and movies in Canada that he was offered a part in Young blood (1986). After he was done with filming the movie, Reeves decided he was going to remain permanently in the United States obviously for greener pastures. Patricia was a showgirl and costume designer. The English Taylor was with Keanu’s father for only two years before their divorce. After they separated, Keanu and his sister Kim moved with their mum and lived with her for most of their lives. They all lived together in Australia for a year then finally to New York before taking roots eventually in Toronto.

Patricia’s next husband was Paul Aaron, a fellow member of the movie industry and their marriage lasted just one year. After Aaron, she married Rock promoter Robert Miller then finally her hair salon owner Jack Bond.

Samuel Nowlin Reeves, Jr. (father)

Geologist Samuel was married to Patricia from 1964 till 1966. They met when he was 19 and she was two years older, performing at a Casino in Beirut. Love grew fast and before they know what was happening, Patricia was pregnant and they decided to get married.  They had another child while they were together but things kept spiralling towards a downward turn as Samuel had a propensity for trouble, drugs and alcohol. After his divorce, that was the last he heard from his son Keanu.

Reeves never reconnected with his biological dad as he went on having stepfather after another, thanks to his mom’s short marriages. Sam has tried severally to reconcile with Keanu all to no success as the infamous Reeves seems to not be interested. The older Reeves admits painfully that his almost two decades of drug abuse, prison term and sordid life is what has cost him the love of his popular son Keanu and daughter Kim.
